When Basma Hameed was only 2 years old she suffered an injury that left her with third degree burns covering 40% of her face. Throughout her life she underwent over a hundred reconstructive surgeries but the prominent discoloration still remained. By the time she had reached her teenage years she was told there was nothing more she could do. 

At the age of seventeen determined to make a change, she began experimenting on herself with various dermal techniques hoping to reduce this discoloration. In the process she successfully restored the natural pigmentation of her skin and perfected a first-of-its-kind treatment, “Scar Camouflage”.

What she had pioneered over two decades ago was unlike anything else available on the market. We’ve learned that this treatment not only corrects pigmentation; but it also has the ability to regenerate the scars health and integrity. Basma knew that what she created would help empower so many others around the world and so, The Basma Hameed Clinic was born; the first and longest running clinic of its kind.
